2003 conference, Singapore

The 2nd Asia Pacific Mediation Forum took place in Singapore from 19 to 22 November 2003. The conference was hosted by the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers and the Community Mediation Unit, Ministry of Law.

The theme of this Forum was Developing a Mediation Culture - a timely theme, modern mediation was introduced to Asia only recently. This Forum features some 25 papers from the four plenary sessions and eight workshops. It provides an invaluable sharing of experiences and the opportunity to network and discuss latest developments in mediation. Presentation papers from 20-22 November 2003 are available on this website, and published on a CD. While every effort has been made to include all the formal papers, some are not included as they were not submitted before the dateline.
