Its primary functions are to organise conferences, congresses, lectures and publications to fulfil its objective of the exchange and development of knowledge and skills of mediation and conflict management.

The WMF convenes global forums bi-annually and sponsors national and regional forums in the years in-between.

Bibliography

This bibliography for alternative and judicial dispute resolution (ADR and JDR) was compiled by Ms Kate Blomfield, Professor Andrew Pirie, and the Honourable Hugh F Landerkin, for the first of the Asia Pacific Mediation Forums in 2001. Though a little out of date by now, it is quite comprehensive. (Volunteers are being sought for an update; if you are interested, please contact Dale Bagshaw at the above address.
