19 October International Conflict Resolution Day, 3rd Thursday in October
Thursday, the 19th of October, was the international day of conflict resolution (as is the third Thursday every October). The purpose of declaring such a day is to increase public awareness about conflict resolution, so any publicity will be useful. More information at the World Mediation Forum website, as well as a poster that you can download.

Oct-Nov 2006 Brisbane The Australian Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies is offering a set of three mediation courses during October and November, aimed at professionals. Two courses require no previous experience, the other course is for professionals with basic mediation training and some experience. Further information here.

6 to 11 April Adelaide Course on preparing for negotiation
This 6-day course focused on devising sustainable processes to promote sustainable outcomes. It was presented by Judith Morrison in Adelaide from 6 to 11 April.
